    Chamber Welcomes New Board Members

    Newly elected board members to serve a three year term beginning July 1, 2022, are Bart Savant, Omega Energy Solutions; Carey Lawson, LSU Eunice; Billy Vincent, Acadian Ambulance and Willie Bergeron; Cleco Power, LLC. 

     

    Willie Bergeron
    Cleco Power, LLC

    Willie is the Governmental Services Representative for Acadia Parish and Acadiana south. He also supports lobbying efforts with our team in Baton Rouge and works with state elected officials. 

    Willie volunteers at HOPE Healthcare and Hospice, the Rotary Club of Eunice, serves on the LSUE Foundation Board and LSUE Advisory Board, is a lector in his church parish of St. Edward Church in Richard, helped create Bear Nation Broadcasting in Church Point, and has been in the Church Point Booster Club for the past 20 years. He and his wife, Lizzy reside in Church Point, and have 8 children together. In his free time, he enjoys spending as much time with their children and grandchildren as he can.

     

    Carey Lawson
    LSUE at Eunice

    Carey is the Executive Director LSUE Foundation, as well as, Director of University Advancement. She is excited about the opportunity to expand the economy and educational opportunities for the citizens of Acadia Parish! Carey and her husband, Alan reside in Crowley and have 2 children, Collin and Lillian. In her free time, she enjoys watching her children play sports and the beach. 

     

    William “Billy” Vincent Jr.
    Acadian Ambulance Service

    Billy is the Community Relations Supervisor for Acadian Ambulance covering the parishes of Acadia, Jeff Davis and Calcasieu Parishes. He was a participant of the 2020-2021 Leadership EXCEL class. Billy is excited to work together to improve the economic, civic, and cultural growth of Acadia parish. He and his wife reside in Moss Bluff. In Billy’s spare time, he enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisines.

     

    Bart Savant
    Omega Energy Services

    Bart is the Owner of Omega Energy Services, a Power Petroleum bulk plant, here in Crowley. He is an active member in the community, as his children’s baseball coach, and in his church parish. Bart is most excited to help grow the business culture within the Parish. He and his wife, Abby, reside in Estherwood with their 3 children. In Bart’s spare time, he enjoys golfing and hunting.
