Applications Available Now for 2022 Leadership Excel Program
Since 1995, the Acadia & Jeff Davis Parish Chambers’ Leadership Excel program has cultivated over 500 leaders in both parishes through this highly informative, educational and results-oriented leadership development program.
Leadership Excel strives to empower and encourage a diverse group of existing and emerging leaders that are prepared and committed to serving our region. The program helps participants better understand the communities they serve and work in. It prepares them for the challenges they’ll face as community leaders by interacting with and learning from experts and thought leaders. An educational opportunity that broadens perspectives, Leadership Excel allows participants to gain increased understanding of community dynamics and public issues.
Throughout the year, classes meet in various locations around the region & state each month with a major program topic covered by knowledgeable speakers and panels, tours, group activities, demonstrations and class discussions. Sessions include topics such as government, education, public safety, economic development, arts, agriculture, health and human services, and leadership development.
How to Apply for Leadership EXCEL:
Applications for this 11-month program are available now, with completed applications to be submitted by Friday, November 1. Residents and individuals who work in the Acadia & Jeff Davis parish areas are eligible to apply for Leadership Excel.
