Applications Available Now for 2019 Leadership Excel Program
Since 1995, the Acadia & Jeff Davis Parish Chambers’ Leadership Excel program has been cultivating leaders in both parishes, producing over 500 graduates from this highly informative, educational and results-oriented leadership development program.
The program gives participants the opportunity to better understand our communities and to prepare for the challenges they face by meeting with and learning from today’s leaders. Leadership Excel is an educational opportunity that broadens perspectives and allows participants to gain increased understanding of community dynamics and public issues.
Classes meet in different locations around the area & state each month with a major program topic covered by knowledgeable speakers and panels, tours, group activities, demonstrations and class discussions. Sessions include topics, such as government, education, public safety, economic development, arts, agriculture, health and human services, and leadership development.
HOW TO APPLY FOR LEADERSHIP EXCEL:
Applications for this 11-month program are available beginning August 20, with completed applications to be submitted by Friday, October 26. Residents and individuals who work in the Acadia & Jeff Davis parish areas are eligible to apply for Leadership Excel.
