After a successful 7 years, Chamber President & CEO, Amy Thibodeaux has created a path of success for the Crowley Chamber of Commerce.
Since she has taken over the Crowley Chamber of Commerce has won several awards including the La. Small Chamber of Commerce of the Year. Most recently, the Lafayette Daily Advertiser has named Thibodeaux as one of their Top 20 under 40. She and 19 other young (under 40) professionals were chosen out of hundreds of others based on their leadership skills.
“It’s an honor to be chosen along with some of my colleagues,” said Thibodeaux on Tuesday. “But the real pride I enjoy comes from work we do with local businesses and helping the local economy.”
The Crowley Chamber of Commerce hosts several functions and events throughout the year that have become staples of the Crowley events calendar such as the Crowley Gumbo CookOff, Business After Hours and Network at Noon. She along with Crowley residents Keefer Kelbaugh and Kyle Gordon also created Greetings from Levy Park, a free, four part music series that occurs every Spring.
Thibodeaux has never taken too much credit for any of her or the Chamber’s achievements, choosing to compliment her board or staff.
Thibodeaux lives in Crowley with her husband Brandon and their children Sarah, Briley and Ethan.
