Throughout the month of July, JT Meleck Distillers is teaming up with Acadiana Veteran Alliance (AVA) to produce “Spirit of Valor,” a collaboration to increase awareness and raise money for Acadiana veterans.
“JT Meleck Distillers is proud to be supporting our veterans by partnering with the Acadiana Veteran Alliance through the Spirit of Valor campaign,” said Mike Fruge, owner of JT Meleck Distillers. “A portion of all cases sold through the month of July will go directly to the AVA so they can continue on their mission to creating opportunities for local veterans.”
The Valor brand from AVA has had recent success with other partners to produce original beers, seasoning, and now vodka. With the proceeds from Valor products, AVA provides grants for PTSD treatments in the Heal Program, and furthers economic development and business advantages for veterans in Acadiana.
“We couldn’t have picked a better partner than JT Meleck,” added Andrew Ward, President and Founder of AVA. “Their team took an idea, made it a reality very quickly, and we can continue our mission together to serve those who proudly served our country. Coming back home to Acadia Parish to collaborative like this was the icing on the cake, and we look forward to many more collaborations in the future.”
About Acadiana Veteran Alliance–The mission of the AVA is to unite veterans, veteran-owned businesses, and all companies for a common purpose; supporting veterans in job creation and work placement, assisting veterans in mental health solutions, creating a new, fully-developed support system for brothers-in-arms through financial/legal/housing assistance, and funding existing veteran-focused philanthropies through focused efforts.
