The International Rice Festival announces the entertainment lineup for this year’s festival to be held October 17-20, 2019. Celebrating its 83rd year, the Rice Festival remains an admission-free event, attracting thousands of visitors each year. Beginning on Thursday evening, the two sound stages provide entertainment as well as festival events such as a rice-eating and fiddle and accordion contests, the crowning of the International Rice Festival Queen and so much more.
The Cramer Equipment stage will be shuffling to the sounds of Cupid on Friday, October 18th along with other festival favorites such as Country Round-Up and The Fleurtations. The Voice Runner Up, Gyth Rigdon will be performing on the Supreme Rice stage on Saturday, October 19th followed by Acadiana native, Marc Broussard.
“We are very excited about the lineup this year. This is a big part of our festival that would not happen without our sponsors,” says Josh Spell, 2019 Festival Chairman.
