Krewe of Town Revelers
With the theme “I Want my CIM-TV,” this year’s Krewe of Town Revelers Carnival Ball will take celebrants back to the 80’s.
It will invoke memories of big hair, bright-colored clothing, Cabbage Patch Dolls and the determination to solve a Rubik’s cube.
This year’s ball will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at the International Rice Festival Building in Crowley.
Featured will be the Crowley Town Club’s “Legacy Couple,” Dr. Ted Reaux and Jessica Capel Ardoin. The couple was chosen from a pool of past dukes and maids on Cimmer’s court who loved their Mardi Gras ball experience so much that they wanted to do it again. They are excited about reappearing in this year’s ball.
The public is invited to attend. Live ticket sales, which will save you on-line ticketing fees, will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2020 at the Town Club. Tickets will also be available on the website www.ktrcarnivalball.ticketleap.com/65th.
