Brace Yourself… Greetings from Levy Park is finally HERE!

Vodi is a 6 piece indie rock band based out of Houston, TX featuring ambient keys, driving rhythms, effortless hooks and a nostalgic sound.

By doing their own thing while embracing a sound largely absent from modern music for 30 years, Vodi carves out a space they can easily own, while making pretty much anyone who hears them an immediate fan for life.

    Listen to Vodi here.

Dylan Leblanc is a singer/songwriter originally from Shreveport, LA. He gained much of his musical education at the legendary Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals. Since 2010 Dylan, has released a number of critically acclaimed records, even featuring a track with the great Emmylou Harris.

He’s played with Lucinda Williams, Alabama Shakes, the Civil Wars and with greats like Bruce Springsteen and Drive-by Truckers.

“There is not a single song that deserves to be skipped on ‘Cautionary Tale’ . It’s a near flawless record, cohesive and self-assured.” – No Depression

    Listen to Dylan Leblanc here.

“We just wanted to be a great, road-ready, rock ’n’ roll band”, muses frontman, Luke Mitchell, of South Carolina based rock outfit, The High Divers; and with 4 years of steady national touring, 2 studio albums, and a growing fanbase that have come to love their raucous live shows: it would seem the band is making good on those original plans.

With anthemic choruses, lush 3 part harmonies, and rhythms rooted just as deeply in Motown as in rock ’n’ roll of the past and present, The High Divers create songs that nod to the classics, while carving out a sonic space all their own.

Listen to The High Divers here.

On the road is where The Artisanals feel most at home. Following the cues of the universe, Johnny, Clay, Eric, and Josh are crisscrossing the country in their trusty Miravanti, crashing on couches of friends and recent strangers, loading in and out of clubs and venues, and bringing their explosive live show to stages of all sizes. They are missionaries of rock n’ roll; performing The Artisanals gospel and turning on fans each night. This is the sound of the road; of heartache and good times; of an old classic and a new favorite. This is The Artisanals.

    Listen to The Artisanals here.

    ABOUT GFLP

When we crafted this little idea over 5 years ago, we had no idea what would transpire. The three of us knew that we wanted to introduce our citizens to unique sounds and art mediums while enjoying the company of each other in a beautiful park setting. Since 2014, Greetings from Levy Park (GFLP) has sought top musicians from across the nation from a variety of genres including funk, soul, pop, bluegrass, country, and many more. To say the least, we’ve been very pleased with the result. GFLP has welcomed thousands of locals and tourists to historical Levy Park and Acadia Parish and accomplished exactly what we set out to do.  Each year we strive to do better than the year before and this year we want you to be a part of the action with us!

Alabama Shakes, Cautionary Tale, Dyaln Leblanc, greetings from levy park, Houston, Indie Folk, Indie rock, Live Music, Lucinda Williams, Motown, music, Shereveport, South Carolina, The Artisanals, The Civil Wars, The High Divers, VODI
