The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the Small Chamber of the Year by the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE). Every year, LACCE presents the state honor to a small, medium, and large Chamber with the LACCE Leadership Award. This program recognizes Chambers of Commerce who have distinguished themselves and their community through excellence in chamber management. Judging is based on examples of growth and progress in three areas that are vital to an organization’s success. These areas include Community Development, Organizational Development and Professional Development.
Acadia Parish Chamber President & CEO, Amy Thibodeaux, could not be more pleased with the honor. She credits such an award to a first-class, supportive Chamber membership, a Board of Directors that are truly dedicated to the Chamber’s mission to support the business community, and a remarkable staff in Megan M. Duhon and Kathryn Shea Duncan.
The Acadia Parish Chamber helps members gain influence and access on issues that matter to business. They serve as the leading economic development organization and business advocate for Acadia Parish.
