The Crowley Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Banquet on Thursday, May 10, 2018. With Presenting Sponsor, Home Bank, the event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Grand Opera House of the South in Crowley.
Guests will take a look back at the past year and get a sneak peek of what is to come for Acadia Parish’s business community. 2017-18 Chairman Trenton Leonards will hand off leadership to incoming Chairman Melinda Malmay. Chamber Board Members will also be recognized for their efforts. New Chamber Board Members, Glenn Dailey, Kelli Dore, & Kyle Gordon will be inducted to the board. Board Members completing their three-year terms are Lee Lawrence, Jill Habetz, and Trenton Leonards.
In conjunction with the event, the Chamber will award several individuals for their contributions to our community. Supreme Rice will be recognized as the 2018 Business of the Year. Stella Guidry has been selected as the 2018 Humanitarian of the Year. Acadia Parish’s Outstanding Young Citizens will be honored as well. They are: Kylie Reed, Church Point High School, Alyssa Williams, Notre Dame High School, Ben Doughty, Midland High School, Lanisha Francis, Rayne High School, Chloe Sibley, Crowley High School, Jon Mouton, Iota High School.
The Crowley Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet is open to the public. Guests will arrive at 6:00 pm for a cocktail & social hour, while having the opportunity to bid on silent auction items.
