With great excitement, Mrs. Sandi Doré, Principal of St. Michael School in Crowley recently announced the addition of a Pre-K 3 program for the coming 2021-2022 school year. Following research and planning, the construction of a brand new 2300 square foot facility is underway and expected to be completed by August of this year. The building, which will be located just outside and north of the original wing of the school, will house two separate classrooms, each with its own bathroom facility and storage. A separate playground exclusively designed for Pre-K 3 children will adjoin the new facility, creating a safe environment that combines play and learning.
The program will a place that is both warm and inviting, and surrounded by dedicated, experienced teachers whose goal is to making learning fun and exciting, the program coupled with the new facility will allow students to grow at a time that is so crucial. A child’s first experiences in school sets a foundation of social, emotional, and academic skills that will remain with them the rest of their lives.
