Fall is in the AIR! So is the smell of good food and lots of fun! This weekend is a busy weekend for Acadia Parish! Check out the events below and support these incredible community organizations!
AGH: Colors of Hope 5K
October marks the month of women’s health, particularly breast cancer awareness. This is a 5k run/walk for all ages of the community to kick off breast cancer awareness month. We will use the money we raise to cover the expense of a mammogram here at Acadia General Hospital for uninsured patients during the month of October.
This is an event we would like to get all the community involved in. If you know someone who needs a mammogram but can’t afford it, you can give us their information when you sign up for the race and we will contact them to schedule their mammogram with the funds we received during registration.
