The Acadia Parish Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet is the highlight of the year. It signals the ending of our year allowing us to recall the highlights from the past year while taking a moment to thank several individuals and businesses who have made substantial contributions to the community and industries they serve.
Nominations are being sought for annual award honorees. Every year, the Chamber asks local businesses, as well as clubs and organizations, to nominate an Outstanding Business Person (or Business) of the Year and a Humanitarian of the Year. In addition, nominations for Outstanding Youth Awards will be solicited from local high schools. Awards will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet slated for Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at the Grand Opera House of the South.
Nominations are requested by the close of business on Friday, March 8th.
